An interesting feature of the metal inserts in these stairs is that you will not touch the cold material, because the railings are made of pleasant to the touch oak. Wooden items in the apartment always maintain a comfortable temperature for a person, so even if you go up the stairs barefoot, it will not cause discomfort. A rather interesting option is glass inserts attached to wooden railings. Transparent material will visually add space to your home, in addition, glass decor elements always look elegant. Thanks to special processing tempered glass guarantees you durability and reliability for years. In our stairs we usually use such glass with a thickness of 6+6 mm, or 8+8 mm. Many experiments have been conducted with this material. For example, tempered glass withstood a 0.8-kilogram metal ball that fell from a height of more than a meter. Regarding triplex consists of 2 or more layers of glass and is also made by a special technology. Usually 2 layers of glass are connected by a polymer film therefore even at damage the parts remain in the places. This minimizes any chance of injury.
